Texas Rangers updated team outlook after Starting Pitcher Max Scherzer was transferred to the 60-Day Injured List. Scherzer received back surgery in the offseason and has dealt with thumb soreness since. With an open spot on the 40-man roster, Texas selected Shaun Anderson’s contract from AAA.
