Chargers Updated Outlook: J.C. Jackson Traded to NE
Los Angeles Chargers updated Team Outlook after big money Cornerback J.C. Jackson was traded back to New England. The Chargers signed Jackson to a massive 5-year, $82.5 million contract after his Pro Bowl season with the Patriots in 2021. The signing has been a major disappointment, as Jackson missed much of last season with an injury and has struggled this season, which has included poor play, a healthy scratch and an arrest. The Chargers will receive a 6th round pick from the Patriots in 2025 in exchange for Jackson and a 2025 7th round pick. The Chargers will also continue to pay most of Jackson’s salary.
