As we grit our teeth through the very brief moments of sunlight we get this winter (at least here in the northeast), we certainly find ourselves longing for those bright summer days just a little bit extra. Let’s look back at the different brands, styles, and colorways of shades that Big Leaguers were wearing throughout the 2023 season.

The classic Radar EV Path and M2 Frame remained a constant on tons of guys throughout the Majors, as seen here on Bobby Witt Jr., Tony Kemp, and Hunter Renfroe. Some super cool silhouettes entered the fold as well, such as the Sutro Lite Sweep on Francisco Lindor and the Hydra on Manny Machado. Fitting that the flashier platinum glovers were seen in the newest styles that the longtime brand has to offer.

100 Percent continued its strong presence with many different looks. The Speedcraft has definitely stuck around since exploding on to the scene a couple of seasons ago, while guys like Bo Bichette and Carlos Correa have opted for the much slimmer looking Hypercraft. Fun prints on HSK’s and Mike Harris Jr. have made the brand a fun one to look out for on the diamond.

These didn’t quite hit the field because C.J. Abrams rocked them during a chill off day in the dugout, but the Prada PR 06YS retails for a calm $433 on the Prada website.

Who rocked some of your favorite shades? Are there any styles that caught your attention that you personally want to pick up for on- or off-field use? Let us know!
