Vision emerges of Adam Reynolds and Pat Carrigan in heated dust-up after Broncos fan day
Brisbane Broncos captain Adam Reynolds and star prop Patrick Carrigan have been filmed engaging in a heated push and shove during a night out following the club’s recent fan day.
The incident comes just ten days before the Broncos are due to depart for Las Vegas and a clash with the Sydney Roosters in the NRL’s new-look opening round of the 2024 premiership season.
According to News Corp, Reynolds and Carrigan, who were key figures in the club’s rise to runners-up in 2023, came together during a night out in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley, mere hours after the Broncos’ popular annual fan day.
“Adam, Pat, stop!” an onlooker is heard crying in footage which has since been widely circulated on social media.
The NRL Integrity Unit are reportedly set to investigate the incident.
The Broncos released a statement on Monday afternoon confirming the league have been notified, saying they have been ‘speaking to players’ to ascertain exactly what occurred.
“The Broncos are looking into an incident involving some of its playing group in Brisbane City last night,” the statement reads.
“The Club was made aware of the incident last night and has been speaking to players across the course of the day to clarify details of what occurred.
The NRL Integrity Unit has been informed of the matter.”
