For the first time ever, the 2024 Women’s State of Origin will be fought out in a three-match series between Queensland and NSW.

Game 1 of the series kicks off at Suncorp Stadium on Thursday, May 16 at 7:45pm (AEST), with Games 2 and 3 to be played on June 6 and June 27 at McDonald Jones Stadium in Newcastle and Queensland Country Bank Stadium in Townsville respectively.

This is The Roar’s guide to watching the series on TV, or streaming all the action from your device of choice.

How to watch 2024 Women’s State of Origin on TV

Unlike in previous years, where Women’s Origin matches were simulcast on Channel 9 and Fox League, this year Nine has the exclusive rights to all three matches.

That means that like with the men’s series, Foxtel will not show the match live, though a full replay with Fox League commentators will begin at 10pm (AEST) immediately after the match is complete.

For all major cities except Perth and Adelaide, Nine’s coverage will begin on their main channel (9 or 90 for High Definition) at 7:30pm (AEST), with 15 minutes of preview before the match kicks off.

How to stream 2024 Women’s State of Origin

With Foxtel losing broadcast rights for the 2024 Women’s Origin series, that means Kayo Sports will not show the match live, with a 10pm (AEST) replay your best bet.

If you can’t get to a TV, then Nine’s streaming partner 9Now is your best bet. The platform will have live coverage of all three matches of the series from 7:30pm (AEST) so you won’t have to miss a moment.

Simply head to the 9Now website, create a free account, navigate to the Women’s Origin section and start streaming!

If that’s not an option for you either, never fear: The Roar will be covering every moment of the action with a comprehensive live blog, as well as video highlights, analysis and talking points of all the big moments.
